A powerful installation experience to educate the public on the benefits of 4G connectivity.

Maskomi were commissioned to develop a powerful installation experience, to educate the public on the benefits of 4G connectivity. The striking part of the installation was the LED walls built into the installation.

Software was developed that utilised the screens, this allowed the public to Tweet messages across the screens which incorporated bespoke EE video content and animations. An internal installation element was Facebook ‘Like’ Stations, customers logged into Facebook via a EE website on their mobile phones that created a QR code. The QR code could be used on games and content around the installation.

Messages about the customer movements within the installation would then be recorded to their personal Facebook wall. Maskomi also created 4G educational edits that were displayed on screens throughout the internal part of the installation. EE’s experiential marketing tour visited all the big cities in the UK, the tour has now ended, but the software is still being used on other installations.
